Líneas de investigación

1. Mecanismos de inmunidad innata en la amibiasis: papel de las trampas extracelulares de ADN de neutrófilos, eosinófilos y macrófagos, y de los exosomas de la amiba, en protección o patología durante la infección amibiana.
2. Vacunación en mucosas contra la amibiasis: sistemas de liberación de antígenos de la amiba por vía oral (baculovirus, nanopartículas) y análisis de la respuesta inmune en mucosas asociada a la protección contra la amibiasis.
3. Identificación fármacos anti-amibianos.
